PAMUK PRENSES
BÜŞRA- ŞEHİT AHMET ÖZSOY İHO
Once upon a time, there was a country ruled by a king and queen. The king and queen were very kind-hearted people. They also had a daughter who was as beautiful as the world itself. One day, the king lost his queen to an illness. After many years, he remarried. His second wife was very beautiful but had an evil heart.
The queen only cared about her beauty. Every day, she would stand in front of her magic mirror and ask:
"No, my queen," the mirror would reply.
While all this was happening, the king’s daughter from his first marriage turned 18 and became even more beautiful. But more importantly, she was very kind-hearted. For this reason, she was called Snow White.
The king went on a long trip abroad for work. During this time, the queen and Snow White stayed in the palace together.
Again, the queen stood in front of her mirror and asked:
"Well... um... actually, yes, my queen. Snow White is," the mirror replied.
Hearing this, the queen became very angry and devised a sinister plan. She called one of the palace hunters and ordered him to take Snow White into the forest and kill her.
The hunter, who was actually a good man and loved Snow White, took her to the forest under a pretense. But he couldn’t harm her. He told her everything and asked her to run away. When he returned to the palace, he told the queen that Snow White was no longer alive.
Meanwhile, Snow White was wandering alone in the forest, crying and looking for a place to stay. Just when she was about to give up, she saw a small cottage among the trees. She quickly walked in. And what did she see!
Inside the cottage were 7 small beds, 7 small tables, 7 small plates, 7 small slippers... She was very surprised to see that there were seven of everything. After getting over her surprise, she cleaned up the messy cottage and cooked some food. Then, exhausted, she fell asleep.
An hour later, a sound was heard near the house:
When they entered the house, they saw that it was sparkling clean and delicious food was waiting for them. Then they saw Snow White sleeping on the combined beds.
The wisest one, Doc, said:
"Since she cleaned our house and cooked food, I don’t think she is a bad person."
The lazy dwarf said:
"Finally, we don’t have to do any cleaning anymore."
And Happy said:
"I’m so happy that we have a guest."
Eventually, Snow White woke up and began to speak:
"I apologize for entering your house without permission, but terrible things have happened to me. Please let me stay here for a while," she said.
The seven dwarfs felt very sorry for Snow White and told her that she could stay with them as long as she wished.
Snow White and the seven dwarfs got along very well and loved each other dearly. Meanwhile, at the palace, the queen once again stood in front of her mirror and asked her usual question:
"My queen, Snow White is still alive, and she is more beautiful than you," the mirror replied.
The queen found out from the mirror where Snow White was living and came up with an evil plan. She disguised herself as an old apple seller and set out for the dwarfs’ cottage.
After the seven dwarfs left for work, the queen put the beautiful but poisonous apples in her basket and knocked on Snow White’s door.
Snow White, who loved apples and always helped elderly people, opened the door and let the disguised queen inside. When the queen offered her one of the apples, she accepted it and took a bite without hesitation.
After eating the poisoned apple, Snow White immediately fell to the ground. When the seven dwarfs returned home that evening, they found her lying on the floor but could not revive her. They placed her in a glass coffin in the garden and began to mourn by her side.
At that moment, a prince who was passing by heard their cries and approached them. When he saw Snow White inside the glass coffin, he instantly fell in love with her. He leaned over and kissed her gently on the cheek. Thanks to the power of his love, Snow White opened her eyes.
Snow White told the prince everything that had happened. Meanwhile, Snow White's father had also returned to the palace. The prince went to the palace, told the king everything, and had the queen banished far away.
At the end of our story, the beautiful Snow White and the prince fell in love and got married. The seven dwarfs were their witnesses at the wedding.
